Hurricane Season in the Americas

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) provides travel advice for the Atlantic Hurricane Season.

The Atlantic Hurricane Season runs from June to November and affects southern and eastern U.S.A., the Caribbean and Central America. Travellers intending to travel to areas that may be affected should be aware of the possibility of hurricanes. They should also be aware of the preparations to make beforehand and the actions to take if found in a hurricane situation.
